Policy on Dealing with Allegations of Research Misconduct

Commitment to Research Integrity

The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of research integrity and publication ethics. The journal investigates all allegations of research misconduct fairly, confidentially, and without bias, following the guidance and COPE Flowcharts developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Author Responsibilities

Authors are expected to read and comply with the journal's Instructions for Authors, publication ethics, and editorial policies before submission. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work is original, ethically conducted, accurately reported, and complies with all applicable research and publication standards.

Investigation Process

Allegations involving plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, image manipulation, duplicate publication, unethical research practices, authorship disputes, or undisclosed conflicts of interest will be investigated by the Editorial Office. When necessary, the journal may contact authors, reviewers, institutions, or funding agencies. Appropriate editorial actions, including rejection, correction, expression of concern, or retraction, will be taken based on the findings and COPE recommendations.
