Commitment to Data Sharing

The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) encourages authors to share the research data, materials, protocols, and supporting information underlying their published work whenever possible. Data sharing promotes transparency, reproducibility, and the advancement of scientific knowledge.

Author Responsibilities

Authors are encouraged to deposit datasets in recognized public or institutional repositories before or upon publication. Where data cannot be made publicly available due to ethical, legal, privacy, or confidentiality restrictions, authors should clearly state the reason within the manuscript and indicate how qualified researchers may request access.

Data Availability Statement

Authors should include a Data Availability Statement describing where the supporting data can be accessed or explaining why access is restricted. The Editorial Office may request supporting data during the peer review or post-publication process when necessary to verify research findings.

Policy Highlights

  • Authors are encouraged to share research data supporting published results.

  • Data should be deposited in appropriate public or institutional repositories whenever feasible.

  • A Data Availability Statement should be included in all manuscripts.

  • Restrictions on data sharing must be clearly justified.

  • The journal supports transparency, reproducibility, and responsible research practices in accordance with international publishing standards.
