The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record. When significant errors are identified in a published article that affect its accuracy or clarity, the journal will publish a formal Correction (Erratum or Corrigendum). Corrections will be clearly linked to the original article to ensure transparency and preserve the publication record.
Articles may be retracted if there is clear evidence of research misconduct, plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication or falsification, unethical research practices, or major errors that invalidate the findings. Retraction decisions are made following a thorough investigation and in accordance with COPE recommendations.
The Editorial Office will assess all reported concerns fairly and confidentially. Where appropriate, authors and their institutions may be contacted during the investigation. If concerns cannot be resolved immediately, the journal may issue an Expression of Concern while the investigation is ongoing.
Corrections are issued for significant errors affecting the published record.
Retractions are published when findings are unreliable or ethical misconduct is confirmed.
Expressions of Concern may be issued during ongoing investigations.
All decisions follow COPE ethical guidelines and international publishing standards.
